Spring has sprung

Happy first Sunday in Spring.

I have really missed blogging and writing down my odd thought and random meanderings. I have no idea why I come and go so much in the past year - well, actually I do - -  an awful lot of things have been happening in my personal arena and there just hasn't been any energy left for me to do what I love. However, I decided yesterday (so we'll see how long that lasts!) that I need to begin focusing more on me again and rather than playing an extra round of candy crush, it is a good idea to write.

Before I actually write the post for spring that is running around in my head I do have a question/favor for someone (body)
I have been writing a book - Cracked Cocoon - since 2014 and I am seriously close to finishing it - - but I would love to have someone who loves to read check it out before I decide what to do with it. I can either see if I can get it published the old fashioned way or just put it on Amazon like I did with The Mirror. Please let me know if you'd be interested and I can send you the file - - -

Now - back to Spring.
I LOVE FLOWERS! and I love flowers in my yard that make my house look so much prettier.  I have always wished I could have one of those houses that people drive by and say, "Wow! that yard is beautiful" but of course I don't want to pay anyone else to do it for me. That being said, I have a front yard with beautiful colors springing out of it.
Sad apple tree - it will be full in no time!

Hopefully the avocado tree will grow really big!

I also have a back yard filled with Geraniums and have decided that every open spot in my yard should be filled with color so I have been gathering geranium clippings and sticking them into the ground. I can hardly wait to see how this grand experiment turns out!

Thank you all for sticking with me through all my ups and downs - - - here's to more ups than downs going forward!

  1. I am so delighted to come and find you doing a free-flow post just like the old days! Welcome back, my friend! I have stepped away from blogging a few times too when life gets too busy or overwhelming, but I always eventually return because writing it out saves what is left of my sanity and helps me sleep at night. It's great exchanging bits of our thoughts and lives with other people too!

Definitely send me a copy of Cracked Cocoon, I can read it while we are on vacation and I have my toes in the sand at the beach. :-)

Your yard is amazing! You are blessed to live in a climate where green things thrive. I love flowers and bright colors too! Geraniums are wonderful because they are so hardy and come in so many colors, even candy striped! I've never seen an avocado tree (don't laugh), so you will have to post updates as it matures.

Enjoy Spring, take us some photos as you go on your walks! Love you much and always. XOXO

  2. Love all the colour!!! Yes yes to more colour and lots of blooms. Makes me sooo excited for our Spring - well, more summer for us before we have many blooms. Oh to have a year round garden would be heaven!
