Grand entrance

Joining the gang for Six Sentence Stories where this week's prompt is Entrance

There were two gates. One said 'Exit' with a sign that point to the right that said 'Entrance This Way'.
No one could be seen anywhere near the exit; however there was a line of people trying to get in.

Julia ran to get some help when her little brother went into the gate. She'd been waiting all day for him to come out. But even when it turned dark, she'd not seen a person leave.

  2. Yikes, this could be the beginning of a very scary story... or a metaphor for life. I want to know more!!

  3. I'm with Paul and Josie, definitely somethings just not right. It's always impressive how powerful (in the negative/fear-inducing way) an un-defined threat can be. Hoping this is the start of a serial Six.

  6. Welcome to the Hotel California. You can check out but you can never leave. I'm reminded of that Eagles song by your story.

  8. Uh-oh. Now that's a scary feeling. Waiting for someone who never shows and you have no idea why...
